Palgrave Environment Committee is a charitable organization in the Town of Caledon created in February 2007. There are seven members who have been instrumental in providing community leadership about eating locally and supporting the green economy of Caledon.
The chair of the committee, Barb Imrie, recently received the Environmentalist of the year award, from the Caledon Environmental Advisory Committee (CEAC).
We are part of the Palgrave United Church charitable organization with an active Board of Directors. We are continuing to support our local farms and the Caledon economy by having a booth at the Caledon Farmer’s Market for the 2010season.
The Church and Manse became “bullfrog powered” in April 2008.
